After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi and drive to the western side of Mount Kilimanjaro. After completing the necessary registration and park entry procedures at Lemosho Gate, your trek begins. The first section takes you through the beautiful montane rainforest, where you may encounter various species of birds and monkeys. The trail is peaceful and surrounded by lush vegetation as you gradually gain altitude. You will arrive at Big Tree Camp, where your mountain crew will have prepared your tent and meals.

After breakfast, you leave the rainforest behind and begin climbing through the moorland zone. The vegetation becomes shorter and the landscape opens up, offering magnificent views across the mountain. As you approach the Shira Plateau, the terrain becomes more dramatic, with volcanic formations and wide-open mountain scenery. You will arrive at Shira 1 Camp in the afternoon and have time to rest, enjoy your surroundings and allow your body to adjust to the increasing altitude.

Today you continue across the spectacular Shira Plateau, one of the most beautiful sections of the Lemosho Route. The trail gradually climbs through the alpine desert landscape, providing panoramic views of Kilimanjaro's volcanic terrain. You will pass Shira 2 and continue toward the quieter Moir Valley, depending on trail and campsite conditions. This day is particularly important for acclimatization as you spend time at a higher elevation before descending slightly for the night.

Today is an important acclimatization day. You will climb toward Lava Tower, reaching approximately 4,600 m above sea level. After spending time at this higher elevation, you descend toward Barranco Camp. This "climb high, sleep low" strategy helps your body adapt to altitude. Along the way, you will experience dramatic volcanic landscapes and see the impressive Lava Tower and the famous Barranco Wall. Arriving at Barranco Camp, you will enjoy spectacular views of the mountain and surrounding valleys.

After breakfast, you begin the exciting climb up the Barranco Wall. Although the wall looks challenging from below, the trail is manageable with the assistance of your experienced mountain crew. Once at the top, you will be rewarded with incredible views of the mountain and surrounding landscape. You then continue through a series of valleys and ridges toward Karanga Camp, where you will spend the afternoon resting and preparing for the final stages of the climb.

Today you make your way toward Barafu Camp, the final base camp before the summit. The landscape becomes increasingly rocky and barren as you enter the high alpine desert zone. Upon arrival at Barafu Camp, your guides will provide a briefing about the summit attempt. You will have an early dinner and rest as much as possible because the summit climb begins around midnight.

Around midnight, you wake up and begin the most challenging and rewarding part of your Kilimanjaro adventure. You climb slowly through the darkness toward Stella Point (5,739 m) on the crater rim. The ascent is demanding, but your experienced guides will maintain a steady pace and provide encouragement throughout the climb. After reaching Stella Point, you continue along the crater rim toward Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa at 5,895 metres. UHURU PEAK – 5,895 M Standing at Uhuru Peak is the ultimate achievement of your Kilimanjaro trek. Enjoy the incredible views, take photographs and celebrate your accomplishment at the Roof of Africa. After spending time at the summit, you descend to Barafu Camp for a short rest before continuing down toward Millennium Camp, where you will spend the night.

After breakfast, you begin your final descent through the beautiful Kilimanjaro rainforest toward Mweka Gate. At the gate, you will complete the park exit procedures and receive your official summit certificates. Your vehicle will then be waiting to transfer you back to Moshi or Arusha, where you can relax and celebrate your successful Kilimanjaro adventure.
