GoAfricaBookings is a marketplace and discovery platform. We help travelers find tours, treks, safaris, and other trips offered by independent tour operators across Africa, and pass inquiries along to the relevant operator. We are not a travel agency and we are not a party to the contract between you and the tour operator.
When you submit an inquiry through the site, you are asking a tour operator to contact you about a trip. Submitting an inquiry does not create a booking, reservation, or any contract with GoAfricaBookings. Any booking, deposit, payment, or contract is made directly between you and the tour operator, on whatever terms the operator offers.
Tour details, pricing, itineraries, and availability are provided by the operators themselves. While we ask operators to keep their listings accurate, we do not independently verify every detail, and prices or availability may change. Always confirm final details, pricing, and terms directly with the operator before paying for or committing to a trip.
Prices are stored in US Dollars. Amounts shown in other currencies are approximate conversions using indicative exchange rates, not live market rates, and are provided for convenience only. The operator's actual quote governs the final price.
Tour operators are independent businesses responsible for the trips they offer, including safety, licensing, insurance, and local regulatory compliance. GoAfricaBookings does not operate tours and is not responsible for the acts or omissions of any operator.
Please do not use the site to submit false inquiries, scrape or copy listings for a competing service, or attempt to disrupt the site's normal operation.
GoAfricaBookings does not collect, hold, or process payments for your trip. Any deposit, payment, cancellation, or refund is handled directly between you and the tour operator, under whatever payment and cancellation terms that operator offers. We are not responsible for, and cannot assist with, payment disputes, chargebacks, or refund requests relating to a booking made with an operator.
We ask operators to confirm they hold the licenses required to legally operate in their country, such as a TALA license in Tanzania, and we review the documents they submit where we can. This review is not a guarantee: a license can lapse, be suspended, or change after we've checked it, and we do not continuously monitor every operator's legal or regulatory standing. Please carry out your own reasonable checks before booking, particularly for higher-risk activities such as mountain climbing or overland safaris.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GoAfricaBookings and its directors and employees are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the platform, or from a trip booked through an operator found here - including injury, financial loss, or a cancelled or unsatisfactory trip. Where our liability cannot be fully excluded, our total liability to you for all claims arising from your use of the platform is limited to $100.
These terms, and any dispute arising from your use of the platform, are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. You agree that any dispute will be brought exclusively in the courts of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, except where consumer-protection law in your own country gives you the right to bring a claim there instead.
We may update these terms as the platform develops. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do.
