7-Day Rongai Route Kilimanjaro Climb

Climb beneath the dramatic cliffs of Mawenzi Peak to Mawenzi Tarn, with the rest of the day free to acclimatize.

Cross the high alpine desert known as the Saddle to Kibo Hut, the final camp before the summit attempt.

Set off just after midnight, pass Gilman's Point on the crater rim, then reach Uhuru Peak (5,895 m) at sunrise before descending to Horombo Hut.

Descend through moorland and rainforest to Marangu Gate, finishing on a different route from the one you climbed.
