Experience a 7-day Tanzania safari that combines the distinctive wildlife experience of Serval Wildlife with the untamed landscapes of Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Serengeti. Your journey begins with a closer look at Tanzania’s wildlife and conservation work before continuing into some of the country’s most celebrated natural ecosystems. On safari, your experienced guide follows the conditions of the day, reading the landscape, animal movements and seasonal changes rather than following a guaranteed checklist of sightings. Depending on the season and wildlife movements, you may encounter elephants beneath Tarangire’s baobabs, watch wildlife gather around water in the Ngorongoro Crater, or follow the tracks of predators across the Serengeti’s open plains. The experience at Serval Wildlife adds a different perspective: closer observation, interpretation and an opportunity to learn more about the animals before continuing into the wild. This safari is ideal for travelers who want more than a conventional game-drive itinerary and would like to combine a distinctive wildlife experience with Tanzania’s classic northern safari circuit.

Your safari begins with your arrival in Tanzania and your transfer to the starting point of the journey, according to your flight arrangements. After settling in, you can meet your safari team and discuss the journey ahead. This is also a useful opportunity to go over practical details such as the route, the expected conditions and any personal interests you would like your guide to keep in mind. If you arrive in Tanzania earlier or would like additional time before the safari begins, we can discuss arrangements for an extra night.
Today focuses on the distinctive Serval Wildlife experience. With your guide, you can learn more about the animals, their behaviour and the role of conservation in protecting wildlife. The experience offers a different perspective from a traditional game drive, allowing you to spend time observing animals in a guided environment. This can be an especially memorable part of the safari for travelers interested in wildlife photography, families traveling with children or anyone who would like a closer educational introduction to Tanzania’s animals. The exact activities and experience may depend on the sanctuary’s current operating arrangements.
After breakfast, the journey continues towards Tarangire National Park, depending on the confirmed route. Tarangire is known for its distinctive landscapes, large baobab trees and important elephant habitat. During the game drive, your guide will look for wildlife according to the current conditions, animal movements and seasonal patterns. The experience can be very different at different times of year. Water availability, vegetation and local wildlife movements all influence where animals are found. As the day continues, you will have time to enjoy the changing scenery and the atmosphere of the park before heading to your accommodation. Overnight: Accommodation according to the confirmed itinerary.
Today the safari continues towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The landscape changes as you travel through the highlands, with views and scenery that are noticeably different from the lower-lying areas of the safari route. If a crater visit is included in your confirmed itinerary, the game drive provides the opportunity to explore one of Tanzania’s most distinctive wildlife environments. Wildlife sightings depend on natural conditions and the time of year, while access and operating conditions may change according to current conservation-area regulations. The wider Ngorongoro landscape is also important. It is not only a wildlife destination but a place where conservation, landscape and local communities exist alongside one another.
Today you continue towards the Serengeti. The journey itself is part of the safari experience. The scenery gradually opens up, and the landscape begins to take on the vast character for which the Serengeti is known. Depending on the route and arrival time, there may be opportunities for wildlife viewing along the way. Your guide will determine the best approach according to the day’s conditions and the confirmed itinerary. The Serengeti is a dynamic ecosystem, and the wildlife experience changes throughout the year. The location of large herds, predators and other animals is influenced by rainfall, water, food and seasonal movement.
Today is dedicated to exploring the Serengeti. A full day in the park gives you more time to experience the landscape without having to rush from one destination to the next. Your guide can adjust the day’s route according to recent sightings, seasonal conditions and your interests. Depending on the time of year, the experience may include observing large herbivore herds, searching for predators or simply spending time in the open landscape and watching the smaller details of the ecosystem. If your travel dates coincide with an area where part of the Great Migration is taking place, your guide can advise on the conditions and current movements. The migration is a natural process, however, and its exact location cannot be guaranteed on a particular day.
Enjoy your final morning in Tanzania according to the confirmed itinerary and your onward travel arrangements. Depending on your departure time, there may be an opportunity for a final game drive or a relaxed morning before beginning your transfer. Your safari can then end at the agreed departure point, such as Arusha or another location arranged as part of your travel plans. If you are continuing to Zanzibar, another Tanzanian destination or an international departure, we can discuss the most practical onward arrangements when planning your trip.
