Your safari begins with a morning departure from Arusha and a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its impressive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and diverse wildlife, Tarangire offers a wonderful introduction to Tanzania's safari experience. Enjoy an afternoon game drive through the park, searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo and many other animals before continuing to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, leave Tarangire and journey toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. The drive takes you through the beautiful Ngorongoro highlands before entering the vast plains of the Serengeti. Enjoy wildlife viewing along the way as you travel toward your camp or lodge in Central Serengeti. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive, where you may encounter lions, leopards, cheetahs, and large herds of grazing animals.
Spend a full day exploring the incredible wildlife of Central Serengeti. This area is well known for its year-round wildlife and excellent opportunities to see predators.
