Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari representative and transferred privately to your luxury hotel in Arusha. After check-in, enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Relax at the hotel, enjoy its facilities, or simply rest after your international journey. Your safari guide will meet you for a safari briefing and provide information about the journey ahead. Enjoy dinner and a comfortable overnight stay in Arusha.
After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its spectacular scenery and abundant wildlife. Upon arrival, begin your first game drive through the park. Tarangire is particularly famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, seasonal wetlands, and diverse birdlife. Keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, lions and other wildlife as you explore the park. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the safari before continuing with an afternoon game drive. Later, depart Tarangire and continue toward Karatu and the Ngorongoro Highlands. Arrive at your luxury lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, depart Karatu and travel toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. The journey takes you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and into the vast Serengeti plains. As you enter the park, begin your wildlife experience with a game drive en route to your luxury camp. The Serengeti is home to an extraordinary variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras and wildebeest. Depending on the season, you may also encounter the Great Wildebeest Migration as the herds move through different parts of the Serengeti ecosystem. Continue with your game drive before arriving at your luxury camp in the evening.
After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. This is your main wildlife day, allowing plenty of time to explore the plains and search for the Serengeti's famous predators and large herds. Your experienced safari guide will select the best areas to explore based on recent wildlife activity and seasonal conditions. Depending on the time of year, you may follow areas where the migrating wildebeest and zebras are concentrated. The Serengeti also offers excellent opportunities to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, hippos and numerous bird species. After Lunch, depart to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
The crater is one of Tanzania's most remarkable wildlife destinations and supports an exceptional concentration of animals. Explore the crater floor in search of lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles and, with luck, the endangered black rhinoceros. Enjoy a picnic lunch during your crater safari before ascending the crater walls. After leaving the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, continue by road toward Arusha. Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon or evening, where your luxury safari comes to an end. You will be transferred to your hotel, onward destination, or Kilimanjaro International Airport, depending on your travel arrangements.
