Discover two of Tanzania's most spectacular wildlife destinations on a private 5-day safari through the legendary Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This carefully designed safari gives you more time to experience the Serengeti, with multiple game drives across its vast plains and wildlife-rich landscapes. Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and many other species as you explore with an experienced local safari guide. Depending on the season and location of the herds, you may also encounter parts of the Great Migration. Your guide will adapt the game-drive areas according to wildlife conditions and the time of year. The adventure continues to the Ngorongoro Crater, a spectacular natural wildlife sanctuary where a remarkable concentration of animals can be found within the crater floor. Here you have another opportunity to see iconic African wildlife, including the Big Five. With comfortable mid-range accommodation, private transportation and an experienced guide, this safari is ideal for wildlife enthusiasts, photographers, couples, families and travelers who want to spend more time in the Serengeti rather than rushing between many different parks. Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha. Travel west through the scenic landscapes of Northern Tanzania and across the Ngorongoro Highlands before continuing toward the Serengeti. As you approach the Serengeti, the landscape transforms into vast open plains and wildlife-rich savannah. Depending on the journey time and park conditions, enjoy wildlife viewing as you enter the Serengeti before continuing to your accommodation. Arrive at your lodge or tented camp, enjoy dinner and settle in for your first night in the Serengeti. Activities: ✅ Game drives ✅ Photography

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the Serengeti on an extended wildlife safari. After breakfast, head out with your experienced guide for a full day of game drives. Explore the wildlife-rich plains, river areas and kopjes while searching for predators and large herds. Look for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas and many other species. Depending on the season, your guide will choose the best areas to explore based on current wildlife conditions and, where appropriate, the movement of migrating herds. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the day's adventure before continuing your game drives. Return to your accommodation in the evening for dinner and overnight. Activities: ✅ Game drives ✅ Photography ✅ Bird watching
Enjoy another full day of wildlife exploration in the Serengeti, giving you more time to search for the park's iconic predators and other wildlife. Begin with an early morning game drive when many animals are active. Explore different areas of the Serengeti with your guide and look for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes and other wildlife. The Serengeti's enormous size means that every day can bring different sightings and landscapes. Depending on the season, you may also encounter large concentrations of wildebeest and zebras associated with the Great Migration. Stop for a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing your afternoon game drive. Return to your accommodation in the evening for dinner and your final night in the Serengeti. Activities: ✅ Game drives ✅ Photography ✅ Bird watching

Enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before beginning your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The early morning is an excellent time for wildlife viewing, when many animals are active in the cooler conditions. After your game drive, begin the journey toward the Ngorongoro Highlands, enjoying scenic views and wildlife opportunities along the way. Arrive at your accommodation in the Karatu or Ngorongoro area in the afternoon and relax before your final day of safari.

After an early breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for your final wildlife experience. Explore the crater floor on a game drive and look for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, antelopes and, with luck, the endangered black rhino. The crater's compact ecosystem offers excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing within a dramatic volcanic landscape. Enjoy a picnic lunch during your crater experience before ascending and beginning your journey back to Arusha. Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon or early evening, where your safari concludes with drop-off at your hotel or another agreed location.
