This five day safari brings together two of Kenya's most rewarding destinations: the Masai Mara National Reserve and Lake Naivasha. It is ideal for travelers who want a genuine Mara game viewing experience alongside a cultural encounter and a change of scenery on the shores of the Great Rift Valley. The adventure begins with a drive from Nairobi to the Masai Mara, arriving in time for lunch. That same afternoon, guests visit a Maasai village for an authentic look at traditional homestead life, dress, and customs, offering context and connection before heading into the wild. The next two days are dedicated entirely to game viewing in the Mara, one of Africa's richest wildlife areas and home to the Big Five, large predator populations, and, depending on the season, the Great Migration. Morning and afternoon drives cover different parts of the reserve to give guests the best chance of varied sightings. On day four, the safari moves to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake known for its resident hippo population and prolific birdlife. A boat ride offers close up views from the water, followed by a nature walk among giraffe, zebra, and waterbuck on the surrounding plains, a rare chance to explore on foot.
