This 5 day safari combines two of Kenya's most iconic wildlife destinations with an active adventure finale. Depart Nairobi for the Maasai Mara, Kenya's most celebrated reserve, with an afternoon game drive followed by a full day exploring its plains in search of lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, and buffalo, and, in season, the spectacular Great Migration. From the Mara, travel through the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park for an afternoon game drive around the alkaline lake, known for its flamingo lined shores and thriving rhino sanctuary. Continue to Lake Naivasha, where a boat ride offers close up views of hippos and waterbirds, followed by a guided nature walk among giraffes, zebras, and gazelles roaming freely along the shoreline. The safari concludes with a change of pace at Hell's Gate National Park, where a cycling excursion through its dramatic gorges and towering cliffs offers a unique, active way to experience Kenya's wildlife on foot, or on two wheels, before the drive back to Nairobi.
$1,890Per person
Depart Nairobi and drive to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, set out on your first game drive across the reserve's open savannah, home to large prides of lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, and buffalo. Overnight in the Maasai Mara.

Spend a full day on game drives across the Maasai Mara, with morning and afternoon sessions and a lunch break in between. Explore different areas of the reserve in search of the "big cats," alongside large herds of elephant, buffalo, and giraffe, with a chance to witness the Great Migration if travelling in season. Overnight in the Maasai Mara.

Depart the Maasai Mara and drive through the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive around the alkaline lake, known for its dense flocks of flamingos and pelicans. The park is also a rhino sanctuary, home to both black and white rhino, alongside lion, leopard, buffalo, and Rothschild's giraffe. Overnight in Lake Nakuru.

Continue south to Lake Naivasha, one of Kenya's freshwater Rift Valley lakes. Enjoy a boat ride on the lake to view hippos, fish eagles, and other waterbirds up close, followed by a guided nature walk along the shoreline where giraffes, zebras, waterbuck, and gazelles roam freely in an unfenced setting. Overnight in Lake Naivasha

In the morning, head to Hell's Gate National Park for a cycling excursion through its dramatic gorges and towering cliffs, one of the few parks in Kenya where visitors can explore on foot or by bike among wildlife such as zebra, giraffe, and buffalo. Afterward, depart for the drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the evening.

Starts in Nairobi, ends in Nairobi.
