Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your friendly Kilimanjaro Umoja Tours representative will greet you and transfer you to your mid-range hotel in Arusha. Relax after your journey and enjoy a safari briefing with your professional guide, who will introduce you to the exciting adventure ahead. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore Arusha town before dinner and overnight at your hotel.
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its enormous elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and diverse wildlife. Enjoy an exciting game drive across the park’s beautiful landscapes, searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and a variety of bird species. Stop at a designated picnic site for lunch surrounded by nature. Continue your afternoon wildlife adventure before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
After an early breakfast, travel towards the legendary Serengeti National Park through the spectacular landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy wildlife viewing along the way as you enter the endless plains of the Serengeti. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive in search of lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes and other wildlife. Depending on the season and animal movements, you may also witness herds of wildebeest and zebras. Enjoy dinner and overnight at your mid-range tented camp or lodge in the Serengeti.
Wake up early for a memorable sunrise game drive in the Serengeti, when predators and other wildlife may be active. After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a wildlife experience, subject to the day’s driving schedule and park access. Explore the crater floor in search of elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, hippos and, with luck, the endangered black rhino.
