Safari adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. You will drive towards Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant population, ancient baobab trees and spectacular wildlife landscapes. Upon arrival, you will enter the park and begin your game drive. . Depending on the season and animal movements, you may also have the opportunity to see leopards and other predators.Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing with an afternoon game drive. Later in the afternoon, you will exit the park and drive towards Karatu for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful and diverse park located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley escarpment is also well known for its birdlife, with hundreds of bird species recorded in the area. With some luck, you may spot the famous tree-climbing lions. The park offers a variety of landscapes, including groundwater forests, open grasslands, acacia woodland and the alkaline Lake Manyara. During the game drive, you may encounter elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, baboons and various antelope species. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the safari before continuing your game drive in the afternoon. Later, drive back to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
After an early breakfast, depart from Karatu and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival at the crater rim, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable full-day crater safari. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa's most remarkable wildlife destinations and is home to a high concentration of animals within its unique volcanic landscape. During the game drive, you may see lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, flamingos and other wildlife. The crater also offers an excellent opportunity to search for the endangered black rhinoceros. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated picnic site inside the crater while surrounded by the spectacular scenery. In the afternoon, continue with your final game drive before ascending from the crater and beginning the journey back to Arusha. Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon or evening, where your safari officially ends.
