On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport, our driver will welcome you and transfer you to Arusha Planet Lodge. After check-in, you can relax following your journey. After breakfast, we leave Arusha and travel towards Ndutu through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you will enjoy changing landscapes, from the highlands to the open plains of northern Tanzania. During the January–March calving season, large herds of wildebeest and zebras gather in the southern Serengeti ecosystem. If time and conditions allow, we will enjoy a game drive before heading to Ndutu Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. - Accommodation: Ndutu Safari Lodge - Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner - Activities: Scenic drive and game drive if time permits
After an early breakfast, we head out for a full day exploring the Ndutu plains, famous for wildebeest calving between January and March. With our experienced driver-guide, we will search for large herds, newborn calves, zebras, elephants, giraffes and predators such as lions, cheetahs and hyenas. We will carry a picnic lunch so we can spend more time in the wildlife areas. Later in the afternoon, we return to Ndutu Safari Lodge for dinner and relaxation. Wildlife sightings depend on natural conditions and animal movements, so they cannot be guaranteed. The safari begins in Arusha, where your Kiwia Africa Tours driver-guide will meet you at your agreed pickup point. Travel by 4x4 safari vehicle through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards Ndutu. After your safari, return to Arusha for your onward journey or airport transfer according to your travel arrangements.
