Karanga River Lodge is a family-run lodge in quiet Msaranga, on the Arusha–Himo Road just outside Moshi. Opened in September 2021 under German management, it is a calm, well-kept base before and after Kilimanjaro climbs and northern-circuit safaris. There are 10 rooms with private European-style bathrooms, a year-round pool, a restaurant and cocktail bar, and Kilimanjaro views across the garden. The grounds are wheelchair accessible, with 24-hour security and a trained local team. Reception can arrange airport transfers, mountain climbs, and safari days.
